I float around inside this bobble water stairs to find myself below the carpet lost inside a shell it ain't a game but for somebody it's a play
I own a stand up ticket for the ride which I don't believe that I will ever find
behind the corner's edge she lays upon the wall
she shows me how to feel before I reach the second floor her time is up but it's the end before the start
I step inside the corner of her gently smiling lips
and rip my paper heart apart
the tale within your eyes is short but long enough for me, I'm bending it this moment might have gone away but I'll be stopping it eternally and I don't believe that we will meet again
I've had a late start, had to fix two-hundred years
and it's been a couple seconds since the days I've had to pay
half an hour means a hundred-thousand ways and I would try them all to make you smile but I don't believe that you would ever mind
in this crowded, empty theatre we're alone
and I can't look away each time you walk throughout this wall as I leave I'm drifting past the open doors
